The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
